A large cabinet specimen of malachite from China-- this piece is more visibly crystalline, with one side displaying a botryoidal habit and the other having a more fibrous, crystalline appearance.  This one is not chatoyant, though is a particularly good example of a Chinese malachite made all the more interesting by the contrast of the forms on the front and back.
